Special Issue Report on the Second Anniversary of the Spirit of Faith Newsletter's Publication This issue of "The Spirit of Faith" marks our Second Anniversary Issue. We started publishing this monthly outreach with the December 1979 issue pictured at left. A lot of exciting things have happened since then! The special combined issue that you are reading now will bring you up to date with what has been going on with Word of Faith Ministries. The first meeting that we had was held in Greensboro, N.C. at the Coliseum Town Hall auditorium in January of 1979. We had had Bible Studies in homes before that, and even one seminar in 1977 in Lexington, N.C. at the Holiday Inn, but the Greensboro meeting was our first since we entered the full time ministry. As you can see, I look a lot different now than I did then! I looked the part of the wild preacher! Attendance at this meeting was not quite what I had hoped for.

As Brother Copeland said once, "They were staying away in crowds!" But, God supernaturally paid all the bills! Later that month, January 29, 1979 we began the Spirit of Faith Broadcast on WLXN at 5:15, Monday through Friday, and it has been going strong ever since! God has blessed us with a beautiful Recording Studio in what has now become the Word of Faith Fellowship Center. As you can see here, we have all the equipment necessary to do the broadcast with a quality sound that many folks have commented on. We are dedicated to quality in all that we do here at Word of Faith!

In order to show you what we are doing now, let me take you on a tour of our newly completed facilities here at Word of Faith Ministries. The room that you see pictured below was my office!  We converted it into the Fellowship Center for Word of Faith Fellowship. We started with a Thursday night meeting on Nov. 19, 1981 and began holding Sunday morning services on Jan. 3, 1982. We are holding to this schedule, twice a week, 10:30 AM on Sunday morning and 7:30 PM on Thursday nights. The folks that are coming out to these services are excited about what God's doing through the Word! The Fellowship Center is also where my office is located and where this newsletter is produced. Pictured here is the office/work room/counseling room at the Fellowship Center. As you can tell, it is a I very necessary part of our ministry.  You might say it is the "heart" of Word of Faith Ministries. We are really excited about the things that God has in store for us!  Word of Faith Fellowship is located near Denton, N.C. in the Healing Springs community. We cordially invite you out to any, and all, services at Word of Faith. The map that we had in the last issue of "The Spirit of Faith" might have been a little confusing. On the next page is a map that should be more clear.  We have also put up several signs to make the Fellowship Center easier to find.  It is just behind our house, which is gray with black trim, immediately off Highway Eight, just five miles out of Denton, NC and about fifteen miles out of Lexington, NC.  Now, that is centrally located!  (Remember that this was published in December 1981, we are no longer located in this location!)
